• Get your local paper: use the contact details there to write to the editor, particularly if they have a letters page. Even if they don't they could make an article out of what you tell them.
• Use the Internet, Yellow Pages and phone directory to get the contact details of your local radio & TV stations, as well as newspapers, magazines, etc.

Once you get known by your local media they are likely to once in a while come asking you for your topical veggie-related input. You can encourage this by being in regular contact with them, keeping up with the names of people on their staff (they often change) and always being positive, helpful and not too verbose.
